Ellie Elevator Glitch

In Chapter 6, after first meeting Ellie and her going into the elevator without you, I have a glitch. No matter how long I wait (at least a half an hour at one point) the elevator stays stuck in standby, and restarting the checkpoint multiple times hasn't fixed it.

And worse thing is that we seem to be the only people with that problem. Spent a day or two looking around online for a solution before giving up

Hi, I’m now having this issue. I think we are the only people on the internet who have actually encountered this. Nothing gets that door to load! If you found a solution after all this time, I’d welcome any input!

A lot of the glitches in this game are tied to framerate.

I recommend limiting your FPS to 30 for that section, and seeing if it fixes the elevator for you.

(There is no FPS option in game, use Vsync temporarily and set your FPS to 30 on the windows side.)
