dead space 2 achievements?

why arent there any achievements for this game and the original dead space?

Well, from what I can see EA never created achievements for it and probably didn't give Steam permission to create any. There are achievments for DS3 however.

You need to have achievements/trophies in order to get a game on Xbox or Playstation, that rule does not apply to PC games. So it's up to the developers/publishers to decide whether or not to put them in.

i wish that would change. i like achievments, but im not one of those people that goes out of my way to get them all. it does seem lame to have achievments for a game on console and then not adding them to a port for the PC. just straight laziness.

Is it lazy or manipulative? Take for instance the fact that DS3 isn't available on Steam but is on Origin.

i like DRM. and i like steam. so mucjh better than the old system of having to install from disc, and losing the disc/ damaged disc.

i meant drm specificallly towards cd keys and such. that i dont like and i dont like the fact that some games on steam use a diiferent launcher (i.e. games for windows live) in order to play them

yea like Uplay? honestly i wish EA would do that with Origin. i mean it sucks, but id liek it better than not having all my games on steam.

id rather have all my games on steam and they play locally through steam instead their individual publishers crap. you have them using steam play instead with steam achievements lol

i would too but having uplay and windows live is better than not having the games at all imo
