Solar Array Elevator Glitch

Before I describe this I have to mention that I'm using an older version of the .exe that removes all of that free garbage in the store, I'll check soon to make sure that's not the cause but if it is, this should be helpful to anyone else stuck with this glitch.

In the elevator's zero g room, where you have to activate the little thrusters to push the car to the top, there is a glitch where the elevator car will not align properly with the door and it completely stops me from being able to get in and continue. This only happened after I died once to the things coming through the elevator's windows. When it reloaded, I saw the elevator dock with the door and it was tilted to the left at such an angle to block me from getting in. I went back out to mess around in the zero g area thinking something was blocking the car but eventually had to restart from checkpoint. It realigned itself and I was able to get in again, but I died again on the way up (I'm playing on zealot stop your poo flinging) and after reloading it misaligned again. I restarted from checkpoint but that didn't work a second time. I'll update this if I find a solution.

Using the detonator on the Tripods in the elevator should help.
But I've got no idea about the glitch lol

Just exit to main menu and then hit continue. It will work. Just remember to save at the nearby save station so you don't lose progress.

That's what I ended up doing and I eventually got past it, I did forget to put it here a year ago though so thanks.

Sep 2020: it works. You have to start from the nearby save point which is not a hassle at all.

Solution still savin' time in 2022!

I found solution. If elevator stuck try turn on vsync in game and load last checkpoint(not save) ,it may need couple reloading but it help.
