Dead Space 2 Toggle Aim Key

I like to have mouse 2 as my toggle aim key but the game doesn't let me do that, does anyone know wo to do it? thank you!

And tried Settings -> Controls -> Change Controls. There is a key binding for Aim Toggle that is Caps Lock by default, but can't be changed to Mouse 2.

I tried it also, but Idk why the game won't allow us to reassign the function to mouse 2. I have no solution.

Someone recommended using a program called GlovePIE or do some hex editing, but I don't know how.

I know, it's completely ridiculous. Especially since it works fine in the first game. Took me a while to get used to not having a toggle the first time I played DS2.

you can't either assign the middle mouse button to certain actions

I found solution: ATNSoft key remapper. First assign toggle aim in game settings to some neutral key like /. Than assign normal aim to another neutral key you will never use like - or .. Open remapper: Key or mouse button: mouse right button, Apply: Only in dead space 2 (browse for exe), replace by the following key, mouse button or key combination: /. OK And you are done!

I believe this can be accomplished through some keyboard softwares too. I think Corsair Utility Engine can do it.
