2. Manage > Browse Local Files
3. Right click deadspace2.exe
4. Click Properties > Compatibility > Enable compatibility mode and select Windows 7 from dropdown.
Heads up though; the game will crash if you alt+tab out.

I have an i5-13600k and the game Dead Space 2 works without a problem after using the above solution.
Additionally, if you want your game to run smoothly without disruptions, it is recommended to disable V-sync for some and set the refresh limit to max. 144hz or less. Otherwise, some objects will fly too fast and it is unnatural, and the game will only have 30hz refresh. I have an AOC 1440p 180Hz monitor.
