If you have an old CPU it should work
Basically game will not work if you have more than 10 core CPU.
This issue wast reported back in 2016.......when first very high end CPUs had this issue with DS 2...........
Not sure if it needs space before the - or not.
But It might not work on win 11.
Never used it but there is a program called "Process Lasso " it can be used to set affinity for many program.
That could work too.
If you can fix it then I recommend turning off ingame vysncs set max frame limit to 60-150 in your GPU control panel. Can also set vsync on if you have 144hz or less monitor.
60fps causes less funny floating bodies and more balanced physis.
Too high fps can result in problems including QTEs not working, collision detection not always working as well. etc.
mouse control also becomes worse at too high fps.
EA should remaster so it can run on new gen hardware
Sadly I have 4 core CPU so can not test out solution......
This might work:
