Cant play game, Activation limit exceeded

Hello, I recently built a new PC, and was trying to download a few games, Dead Space 2 being one of them, and when I wen't to start it, it simply told me that the number of activations for the game have been exceeded. I spent an hour with EA support only for them to tell me they can't do anything about it, so now i am at a loss at what I am supposed to do.

You have a PC-CD version of the game? Rather not, since you say that you have downloaded it?

There is a patch for Dead Space 2, also there is a separate patched up EXE file. If you want me to upload it for you, tell, maybe it will actually help you out.

Yea, i have a downloaded version i bought digitally on steam, so I dont have a CD.

Whenever I ran into this kind of trouble I've resorted this website since year 2003, yes about 16 years.
There may be some ads to click through but I've never ran into any trouble (virusses) from this website. Here is the NoCD/noDVD 'fix'.

Here is the noCD/noDVD patch/crack for Dead Space 2. Replace the DeadSpace2.exe file with the one in this .zip file. Works, tested. The .exe in zip file removes Steam and acticvation DRM. The link below is the file from my personal Yandex.Disk
