Elite Advanced & Arctic Security Suits Missing

I've played the game through seven times now, twice each from:

Casual
Normal
Survivalist

And once on Zealot, just beginning my NewGame+ of Zealot.

I got the Elite Advanced Suit from my first NG+ and it was available to me from the start of each playthrough after that, except: It was not in my inventory when I started Zealot. Moreover, the schematic wasn't in the place it should be in Chapter 11. Now starting my NG+ of Zealot, it still isn't in my inventory.

Not only that, but having completed Zealot, there should be an Arctic Security suit, but it's not there either.

For my Zealot run, I did the adjustment to open up the Conduit Rooms (and found the [rubbish] Hacker Suit Schematic). Has that screwed things up and is perhaps the reason why I have now lost both suits mentioned? I wants me favourite suit! :(

Found on the Dead Space 2 wiki about the Elite Advanced suit :

"This suit has a problem identical to the Zealot / Security Suit safe issue. It cannot be kept in your safe at the same time as the Hacker Suit; one will be deleted upon equipping the other. In order to get the deleted suit back, you must find its Schematic again."

what was the adjustment you did for unlocking the Conduit Rooms for the PC version??

From PCGamingWiki :

Unlock conduit rooms :

.There are four special rooms in the game that are unlocked by completing the Dead Space Ignition tie-in, which is not available for Windows.

.In order to make this workaround effective, you must have beaten the game at least once.
Unlock conduit rooms

1.Go to the installation folder.

2.If you have a DS2DAT0.DAT, you'll need to rename all existing DS2DAT#.DAT to one number higher.
For example: DS2DAT0.DAT → DS2DAT1.DAT, DS2DAT6.DAT → DS2DAT7.DAT, etc.

3.Download Dead Space 2 Conduit for PC : http://mod.gib.me/deadspace2/conduit.7z

4.Extract DS2DAT0_CONDUIT4PC.DAT to the installation folder and rename it to DS2DAT0.DAT.

5.Start the game and load any save file from round two upwards.

Bugger it! I was worried doing that fiddling about might screw something up. :(

What of the Arctic suit? Same or similar bug, I suppose. Well, either way, thanks for your response, Zoé.

Reward items for Zealot and Hardcore are glitched on PC.

But there is a way to unlock it by editing a text file. All informations are here :

Ah, so it IS a known bug. OK, great. Thanks. I've changed it to add the Arctic suit. Only time will tell if I do manage the hard core mode, and IF I do and it doesn't give me the reward, now I know how to fix it. Ta very much. :)

That link leads to a very and most likely outdated solution, i dont even know how to access those files and even if its by opening the "browse local files" option on steam, it doesn't even tell you what to open to see the "control" files
