You would rather ask on the Origin customer support.

Once I heard the Origin has a different, more modern build of Dead Space, but the game itself is the same, although I cannot tell if this hearsay is true.

Well, I think the prices are different
and you can buy a dlc, which ironically
costs more than the base game itself
despite being 8 times shorter
Steam version for the win

Somewhere in one thread I have shown that economically speaking Origin with subscription pass is the way to go for all base Dead Space games. But I understand Steam is your "Facebook" and you rather pay triple, but have it on Steam. That is how people are put in a pocket.

You talking about the Severed DLC? Apparently you can get it on the Steam version with some file fiddling. You pretty much just unlock it really.

He was rather talking about Dead Space 3 expansion pack, I think.

Tell me, Samurai

Enlighten me, on how to "sever" my ties regarding the DLc
guys what u talking about??

Use the cd/product-Key given from Steam in Origin. So you will have both :D the steam version and the origin version ^^

just copy and paste the Key in the cd key activation in origin.

I have Dead Space 2 and 3 on Origin. I'd rather play them on Steam. Can I put the CD keys from the Origin version into Steam to play them?
