Help: Failed to Connect to EA servers

Hi, I recently bought the game and in the past two games I have been trying to log into the game, but every time I have been given the message Failed to connect to EA servers. Any tips on what I can do?

I found the answer, you need activate the code in the site,
https://help.ea.com/eu/ , and you need enter in manage accounts, and you need
redeem the code

I just play without connecting....doesn't seem to do anything negative.

Yep, I figured it out. Just go to EA's origin site, create(or log into) an account, and redeem your gamein the My Games section in the top right of the screen.

Actually I could not fully login into the account settings, perhaps something is up verily, albeit my Dead Space 2 multiplayer and connection work fine.

Do as Yuzuru said,go to the link,click manage account then redeem code,the code is given when you first start the game

Normally it happens in an automatic manner. Once you establish an in-game EA account, the game should be automatically redeemed on your hence created EA account. If you cannot link or redeem, it means the code is invalid for that.

There should be an option to access CD keys somewhere in steam. I'm not sure where it is, but a quick google search would help you
