Is dead space 3 worth getting?

I did like dead space 1+2,but I hear people saying that 3 is “bad” compared to the other games

is not a bad game is just more action oriented than horror.

In a logic time line we could say that:

- DS1 is about a normal person trying to survive and is pure horror

- DS2 is about a person that kinde know already what to do so the game is half/half action / horror
...our engineer si no more a noob

-DS3 is pure action with some horror elements, may be because our dear engineer is a veteran by now in survival to the necromorphs... he is no scare of them anymore.

In general peopels complain about DS3 that si too easy because you build powerful weapons, but i think most of them dident play on Imposible dificulty, or on the unlock mods Classic where you have only old weapons and no posibility to build others, or on Pure Survival mode where you build almost everything and cost a lot of resources.

There is not perfect game out there, always will want something more added to our favorit game, but DS 3 is a good game worth to play.
A big plus for this game is the weapons crafting, altho the creators dident test properly so some players eperience a bug with the game crashing at some saving points in story.
The bug for some players, including myself apear when you pass a numbers of 20-22 weapons crafted and let in your inventory.
For some reson game can't save proper if you have more than 20 weapons in inventory and crash.
In DS3 now you carry only 2 weapons, but because of the crafting system each weapon can have another underbarrel weapon atachment, so basic you still have 4 weapons like in previous titles in series.
One more ore less bad point is that some weapons are esentials for this game, beeing a more action game enemyes are realy fast and when hoard is rushing at you the Force Gun is high demanding, if you dont relay too much on Stasis.
From my experience i think each weapon is good in some chapters, remaind to find out what is working for each one of you.

The coop aspect is fun, but be aware of players using Devil's Hand that are game experience braking.
One negative point for coop is that at least 3-4 coop strict missions cant be completed in single player, so the colectibles that allowed you to have 100% completion are lock behind coop missions.
Also sometimes a bug that apear in coop when players are at very diferent points in the story may change your save games...exemple if you play on game plus you could have the suprise to be reverted to normal game.
If you get some high prise weapons frames grade 5 from the EA in game stupid microtransaction store, build somthing with them, sometimes they disapear from inventory.
On plus you dont need to pay real money for them just send your scavanger 3 small robots for resources and pay with rare resources for weapons parts grade 5.

In conclusion, i love this game i has a good vibe and good gameplay design elements.
Sadly we not gonna ever see DS4...Visceral games is no more do to the corporate idiotic minds from EA...

Dead Space 3 is awesome. It's not as scary as the first one because one good reason: people adjusted to it. Trust me, if they'd seen Dead Space 3 back in the day when the first one came, they wouldn't be able to sleep at night, believe me.
It's not a bad game. It's awesome, plus it has a co-op feature which is a super big plus imo.

I think Dead Space 3 is better than DS 1 and DS 2 [My opinion]
It's easiest if Compare with DS 1 and DS 2
Because DS1 and DS 2 it's more horror than DS 3
DS 3 is suitable for New player. You can buy DLC and Co-Op to get rid of scary things.
I don't understand Why ppl don't like DS 3.
Only bad thing is EA...
PS. Buy only Awakened DLC but if you feel too weak. Just buy Only Witness of Truth Pack for Good Weapon.

I have a problem its on the topic of ds3 i cant seem to find it in the store i have ds 1 and 2 on steam but i cant seem to find ds3 to buy it on steam for some reason any ideas why that might be?

Someone said EA didnt like how Steam Selling their DS Franchise & DS3 DLC.
Another man said Greed is good.

At this time, the price is good now. Worth to buy it but some DLCs not.
and don't wait for sales. it's very very rare.

EA Supports is good. They're active and Try to help you.

I dont know before 2014.but After 2014 till now. i didnt see Dead space 3 On steam.
and i think it won't be on steam. Because The last game that EA decided to sell on steam was release in 2013
So if you want to play DS3, you have to play on Origin.

I found DS3 the toughest of them all, I played alone Hard mode, the enemies are way more lethal....with that said I enjoyed DS and DS2 more

The game like ME3 was only sold on origin with it being a new service as for ds3 it's a solid game overall. I'm always confused why people think the original is more horror you do quite a bit of shooting througout the game. Plus enemies become less intimidating once you know how to dispatch them.

or you could buy/play on PS3 is very cheap and players are still very active, myself i just complet the game again do to the fact that my pc is not working for the moment...

DS3 first act is kind of like the original then it turns into The Thing but with advanced weapons and random soldiers hunting you down and thats not a bad thing. Only get it on sale.
