I don't think Joystick support is even available as an option for RIDE 2 and the Thrustmaster HOTAS was lucky to even show up.
Also, I just checked the front page of RIDE 2 and its says "Partial Controller Support".
_only_ STATIC KEYBOARD keybindings ?!?!?!? in 2016 on a (barely ported) PC game ?
damn ... shame on you so called developpers ...
you won't get my money for that crap, for sure :)
going back to GP Bikes, not the prettiest game, but it comes with real handling and proper controller support :) [also come with a proper demo ... http://www.gp-bikes.com/ ]
lol @ ride 2 .... lol ...
Works great.
So in another words they Boycut PC users totally for using the joystick alternative in the future...Shame on them so far, while the dont care selling the game for PC users which wount buy a controller. I dont buy PC games restricted to controller boxes that´s for sure.
It would take you as a game company So little effort for you to put in joystick settings, so why make this such a big problem for PC users not being able to enjoy your games. You really ought to think about it twice...bad service and bad attitude to a whole marked of users who loved to run the games on joystick...
So dear Milestone sadly for now it´s a big BYE BYE !!! And sadly Steam keeps posting the game is PC kompatible...it is in a very, very, very, small scale...unless you sit with just the exact this or that, you wount have a chance making this a fun and great event on your PC...
You forgot to put "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" at the end of your post!
I have a joystick (Logitech Extreme) and play a plethora of different games with it including driving and riding games, as I am free to do so. Its legit man, obligatory not mandatory as you are trying to make out!
This is my prerogative and I will not be dictated by exclusivity by having to purchase a steering wheel, game-pad or other controller to play a certain game. Ride 2 could quite easily have been programmed to work with a joystick just like TT IOM does..and very well. The Devs are just too lazy to do it and left it as a ported console game. They then sniigger knowingly as they rake in extra revenue from PC sales knowing damn well the game isn't fully supported for it but say nowt about it. Dishonesty smacks in again and again with a lot of video games, same old same old and punters shut up and put up letting em get away with it.
Then they have the audacity to come out with a new game Ride 3 with the same issues and problems but still whacking it out as a PC game! Its as if they do it on purpose just to prove they can get away with the stone cold rip-off.
Discrimination takes all forms and guises including discriminating against those who prefer to use a joystick on a PC rather than a game pad on a console.
