How many seasons are there. im guessing until you reach number 1

if it doesnt carry on after you realch number 1 will you be able to replay it.

i havnt ranked to number 1 on this game yet but ride 1 i did and if i remember correct , i was able to just continue as number 1, the next challenge becomes the world leaderboard, however milestone really screwed up with that one because you dont get more reputation points for racing against real AI,, so if you try to compare your rank with other real players you dont know if they used very easy ai or what and you can guarrentee that anyone on the top just ran very easy AI and arcaded his way through it!,, so as far as the wold leaderboard goes its useless because you will guarrentee yourself to clean house no problem with easy ai.....im sure most players dont want to just have easy races all the time? i dont get why they didnt give more reputation points for racing real AI but you still get credit as you go, really wish milestone would fix that (they did it that way for the first game too!)
As far as the seasons go there is a good years worth of harcore racing in the season carrer, , you have the regular season, plus almost 20 invitational races in between as you rank up, after that there are championships untill your thumbs fall off!
I will also say this , the real AI arethe best I ever raced with, the key is getting up to speed and recognising if your bike is compeditive for the front or not.

Personally I wish they would give us proper championships and cups. Im not a lover of the way races are planed out. I know they cant fallow the likes of a proper Superbike championship (like SBK) but having the bikes split up in the same manner I feel would be more fun rather than this weird "P.P" thing they made up. why not stick to bike races like IRL? race bikes and road bikes split up. Lining up on the grid with a stock race bike and the guy beside me looks like he waiting at trafic lights with is mirrors, rear plate n' lights all on just kills the realisim for me.

AI the best? That's fkin trash for crying out loud.
Yesterday I raced the endurance race on Vallelunga with R2, started 40s late, highest difficulty, still bloody won -_-

best i ever raced .. not you obviously,, i will never be as fast as players like you flavio, but we both know you and I play 2 diferent games but a side from this reality, i didnt get to play sbk 08 but i got into sbkx pretty hard core, I did my first full sim onboard offline championship on that game and nver turned bacto 3rd person since... the way milestone have the Ai setup is pretty good and getting better every year , and if your too fast for thes games you may want to consider a new challenge speedy! lol later.

It genuinely isn't good, if you want a severely kickass AI (and I really mean it, made me struggle more than once), try sbk 08/09. In some cases it was utterly impossible to stay with the pack and you had to wait until everyone else's tyres were starting to get worse to catch up ._. But before that, I remember I had pole by like a second on Philip Island, by the end of the first 2 laps I was around 20th, without a mistake. A couple laps later I was slowly starting to catch up and in the last few laps the AI tyres were destroyed and was running several seconds quicker (until my own tyres got trashed! Ha!), but holy crap when they had 100% tyres they were absolutely mental @_@

i decided to give my VR46 career a full sim shot, just finished round one of the pre season training , 20 laps ... my fastest time was 1 48.3 ... nice time flavio , i saw your 43 on the leaderboard, surely i can find ways to get faster but i only need to get fast enough to beat the sim AI and Im doing full distance full weekends. anyway my vid is on youtube , icca motogp career round 1, I dont know how much time you spent on VR46 but the AI actually change up flavio,, on some tracks they will go as fast as you lol check out the leaderboard , i think its 250cc 2 strkes , im was on the front page i think the old assen track, i got my times on from races against real AI and on some tracks the AI would have been leading the leaderboards when i was running really fast,, anyway Losail is crazy hard on four stroke legions. check out my race a t the ranch, it was really hard for me. its also in the rossi community vids

I like ride 2 for the improved graphics and bike variety but i like full weekends with tire wear , its so interesting to me,, but the main reason i went back to VR is because i barely got going with it then ride 2 was out,, VR46 to me is very special because it is dedicated to Vale and the year he cheated and thought he was gonna get away with it and it cost him his 10th championship! trying to complete my pre carrer race moto 3 argentina, just crashed trying to keep up with the AI mid way through this full distance race, before i crashed i did a 1 48.4 this would put me in 23rd on the leadrboard and suomi is in 2nd with 146.4, 147 puts me in 4th.. there are over 6000 players on that page alone lol moto 3! im gonna have to probly break into the 147s to win.... even then they may go faster. as far as difficulty, gp has the harder ai but ride has good ai to ride with too just not nearly as agressive.
