Missing Items?

Ok I'm confused. I had an encounter with a injured pheonix, I selected to create clothes from it. I paid a foreign craftsman 500 gold to create a cloak and supposedly got a pheonix cloak. But its not on character, nor in his inventory, or in treasury storage. where has it gone? I have noticed this at other times with different items but didn't make any mention of it but it seems to be an ongoing thing. :(

by the time I knew it was missing I had already completed the encounter (otherwise I couldn't check treasury). So too late to take any screenshots. I've also noticed this with the demon encounter items occasionally. I think it may have something to do with not recognising if inventory/storage is full or not when doing the deal, but I havent had an opportunity to test this yet.

items from encounters should be in castle-storate. You wrote that it is not there, but it should be there.
I have received all items from all encounters directly to castle storage in Imperium so far.
This specific (Phoenix) I got only in MotbW - where it worked just fine. While playing Imperium I did not encounter Phoenix yet, so cannot say for 100% that it must work. But when you mentioned you did not receive items from other quests/encounters, I had more than few so far and again - all worked. (items received)
