Need help AGAIN
So I put this game away for awhile, but longing to play it again. So today I started the Sorceress campaign (3 starts so far), and to put it lightly, I need help! What is happening is that I am getting overwhelmed early - very early. And I do not understand the objective I have which is to get 10,000 by plunder. I plundered a couple of things I owned, but didn't see any change in the goal status. So any help there wouled be much appreciated. Thanks for your help, in advance.

I solved that map by fighting the enemies instead of plundering, and I did this fights with the warrior; but you should develop the sorceress as well, because in the 3rd map your sorceress has to fight the warrior. It is a good idea to develop the sorceress into the direction death magic/raise ghosts/raise vampire.
i was HOPING that you would reply - you know so much about this game. can you kindly expolane the "plundering" idea to me - I have no idea what it means - I know how to plunder, but it doesn't add to my total towards the goal. Again, thank you so much.

I cannot explain the idea behind this because in my trial I checked after half of the time that it will be impossible to get the remaining money by plundering (there where maybe 50 days and maybe 8000 gold left, and with only 2 heoes that sometimes have to move, and sometimes have normal fights, and sometimes plunder only 40 gold that was impossible to realize), therefore I tried the 'defeat the enemies' thing.
Btw. in this mission I missed a counter for the plundered gold (so you can see if you can reach the limit of 10000), and btw. originally you had really to plunder the 10000 gold but after a patch they changed it to 'you should get 10000 gold by whatever way you choose - income, fights, plundering' - seems that change was not implemented into the text of the task.

From what I remember of this scenario the Quest discription for getting 10000 gold does not dynamically update. It will not reflect what you have left to collect. It will always read 10000 till your current gold accumulation is 10000 or more at the end of a turn.

I followed the same method as AndreanDW. I had to fight A LOT to get to my goal.

With the Sorceress I try to use spells and troops as much as possible in fights. If you find yourself using your wand a lot in battle, you are going to have to repair it a lot and that will burn your gold.

but as I said - you don't need to collect any gold - you can defeat 2 of the 3 enemies to move on to the next map.

Guys I am at my wits end. I am SOOOO close to deleting this game forever off my hard drive. It is just impossible for me. I have once again started the first sorceress campaign - the divine will. I have no money, no gems. On TURN 7 the "expert" enemy shows up and starts taking my things. I can beat him in battle with my warrior type guy, BUT I have no army left. Is this supposed to be the way to victory? Every game I have played so far is the same - the "pink" guy shows up - I beat him but am left with nothing and 10-15 turns to rebuild. I need help guys. You guys have won this map - WHO did you attack? I "know" the other two enemies (south and southwest) are easier, but I never get a chance to get even near them because this third guy comes knocking. Please - is there any way to make the map easier? Can I alter some file somewhere? Shoudl I uninstall and reinstall the game? I am beat guys. One last chance. I have searched and searched youtube for help, but the only replay there is of the beta for the wizard. Please help.

I'm confused by this because I finished the scenario and it said my total gold earned was 19185, but I still was "defeated". I'm so confused on how to beat this scenario. If it takes beating 2/3 opponents then maybe that's the only way to go, because trying to plunder 10000 gold in 90 turns is impossible, and just regular earning gold doesn't seem to make a difference.

Killed 2 of the enemies, couldn't quite kill the third, still lost. The win condition for this scenario confuses me. If the gold counter would go down then it'd be more obvious what you have to do.
EDIT: killed all 3 and that worked, guess that's the best (if not only) way to do it.
