We're getting closer and closer to the full release — the next version is it！！ It'll ship with localization at the same time. But since a lot of the game's text is baked directly into images, each one has to be redone by hand, so it'll take a while.

• A brand-new Avatar has been added — the Heavenly Artisan:

1. Same as before, only selectable after choosing "Start Directly" to skip the intro at game start.

• The Heavenly Artisan's new Base Talent + Signature Talent:

1. Base Talent - Item Warden: While on the field, each time your side uses 3 item cards, trigger an awakening.

2. Signature Talent - Craft Awakening: While on the field, Trade grants 1 extra item card (multiple Craft Awakenings stack).

3. Both Item Warden / Craft Awakening support Zhenhu.

• Unlock: In the Codex's Neutral units tab, spend 2000 Stardust to unlock the Heavenly Artisan.

• New achievements: Awakening Heavenly Artisan·Male or Heavenly Artisan·Female to Legendary quality (red) unlocks their achievements, each worth 10 achievement points.

• Scholar, Farmer, Artisan…… the Alchemist, Shennong, and the Heavenly Artisan are all in place — stay tuned for the final new Avatar~

• A new Workshop entry in the main menu: view and manage the mods you've subscribed to.

• Subscribed mods do not activate automatically — you must check each one in the Workshop; only checked mods take effect in-game, and you can uncheck anytime.

• Mods currently support custom overhauls of all existing units, including:

1. Replace art yourself: card portrait / landscape full art / voice-over / dynamic performance

2. Create brand-new talents: name / description / trigger timing / effect

3. Customize unit properties: faction / supply cost

• Mods are subscribed and downloaded via the Steam Workshop, and auto-sync locally at game launch.

• Now you can make and publish mods too!

1. Once your mod is ready, click "Upload Mods" in the Workshop panel, pick your mod folder, and confirm to start uploading.

2. The upload runs in the background — keep playing while it finishes; once done, other players can find and subscribe to it on the Workshop.

3. A full creation tutorial is published on the Steam Workshop — open it directly via "View Full Tutorial" in the panel.

4. To break the ice, I've uploaded a "40 Generals Danqing Portrait Edition" — Danqing-style portraits for 10 classic generals each from Wei, Shu, Qun, and Wu. Enjoy, and I look forward to seeing your Three Kingdoms.

• A new Treasure category has been added to item cards (the original Heavenly Sword / Red Hare / Tao Te Ching are now Treasures)

1. Treasures show a dedicated Treasure Seal on the card face, instantly distinguishing them from other items.

2. In the Codex's Items tab, among same-quality items, Treasures are listed first.

• Treasure effects:

1. Use on one of your units in battle to permanently increase their stats for the rest of the run.

• Where to get Treasures:

1. From city victory rewards (early cities are too low-quality to drop Treasures);

2. From the Treasure Chest event's Legendary rewards (Legendary rewards have had non-Treasure items removed);

3. Cannot be obtained from the Shop, Trade, Qiaojiang talent, or other常规 routes.

• 15 new Treasures added:

1. Legendary weapons: Fangtian Halberd / Green Dragon Crescent Blade

2. Legendary mounts: Blood-Sweat Steed / Dilu Horse

3. Legendary classics: Eight Trigrams Formation / Art of War Compendium

4. Epic weapons: Eighteen-Span Serpent Spear / Qinggang Sword

5. Epic mounts: Jueying / Zhuahuang Feidian

6. Epic classics: Scripture of Great Peace / Topographic Map of Western Shu

7. Extraordinary Treasures: Twin Swords (Ci Xiong) / Zixing / Green Satchel Book

• Improved card talent display: when hovering a card to view talents, scrolling to the bottom now fully reveals the last row instead of being covered by the Attack and HP icons.

• Fixed Trade's item-gain popup not showing rarity — it now matches other gain popups and shows item quality (e.g. "Obtained [Epic] Feather Fan").

• Improved Trade's prompt order: when insufficient backpack space and insufficient copper occur together, it now directly reports insufficient copper instead of first popping a "Continue?" confirmation.

• The Qiaojiang talent can no longer roll Treasure item cards; its description is now corrected to "non-Treasure."

• Important notice: the Huixin talent still supports the chance-not-to-consume effect on Treasure items, but once the new Treasure sources ship next version, it will be changed to not support Treasures.

• Fixed the Alchemist's Death Warden talent not counting Fengchu's fake death as "1 ally died" — now when a teammate triggers Fengchu, Death Warden advances the awakening as normal.

• Fixed Marriage Tree-granted female Avatars turning male after dying and loading via "Continue Game" from the main menu (name and portrait were also replaced) — gender, name, and portrait are now correctly preserved, and remain correct after revival.

Hello everyone～ As I mentioned in the Bilibili video, I originally wanted to grind out the full release on my birthday, September 22. But with an update every two days, even though the content is there, neither my body nor your experience would necessarily be better for it haha. So this version I took a day off, and the next two versions will come slower (this version is mainly to tell you about that, plus the Workshop and localization coming later — I'm not too confident I can get those done quickly).

• A brand-new Avatar has been added — Shennong:

3. Both Farm Warden / Tireless Tillage support Zhenhu, and when both are on the same unit they trigger in order: Farm Warden first, then Tireless Tillage.

• Unlock: In the Codex's Neutral units tab, spend 2000 Stardust to unlock Shennong.

• New Avatar achievements: Awakening the Alchemist or Shennong to Legendary quality (red) unlocks their respective achievements.

• Following the Alchemist, Shennong arrives as promised — more brand-new Avatars are still in intensive development and will be introduced one by one.

• Transcendent Dust (Hermit Signature): changed to "When attacked, randomly discard 1 hand card and nullify and reflect half of this damage (rounded up)"

1. Each incoming attack always costs exactly "1 hand card for half the damage," regardless of hand size; doesn't work with no hand cards.

2. Transcendent Dust shipped last version; this update mainly tuned the HP-loss floating text timing when it triggers.

• All provinces get a full scenery upgrade — one land, one view; one province, one melody:

1. In-city maps: every province's minimap has been redrawn, each with a completely distinct look.

2. Scene music: each province's minimap now has its own BGM.

3. Battle music: each province's normal battles and province boss fights each have their own music.

4. The world map also gets brand-new music.

• Each province's boss city map is drawn by that city's faction — Wei / Shu / Wu / Qun each have their own set, so you can tell at a glance "this is the final city of this province."

• Luoyang also gets its own map and its own final battle music.

• To hear the original music again, switch back to Three Kingdoms Drumbeat in "Settings → Basic Settings → Game Music"; the default after this update is Stars Fall Over the Nine Provinces.

• Main menu UI fully refreshed: the announcement button, Workshop button, main menu buttons, and the game Logo have all been remade — a completely new look.

• Granting the Advisor Seal no longer requires a unit to be fully awakened: the Cabinet screen now has a standalone "Grant Advisor Seal" button you can use anytime.

1. While the Strategist/Assistant Strategist slots are still locked, the button appears semi-transparent, and clicking prompts you to unlock the slots first.

• Sili · Luoyang: before unlocking Sili, you can click Luoyang or the Sili region on the world map and spend 500 Stardust to reveal this run's Mandate — know in advance which Mandate you'll face. After revealing, Luoyang's name carries a tag (e.g. [Demon] Luoyang).

• Battle Log panel: new entries auto-scroll to the latest; reopening the panel lands directly on the last page (scrolling back through history won't yank you to the bottom).

• Zhenhu supported-talents list improved: removed the placeholder header, added a dedicated panel background, keeping just the talent list itself — much cleaner.

• The "真·" prefix in talent names has been simplified to "真" (e.g. 真·天子 → 真天子).

• Deck card selection now supports hotkeys: when selecting cards in a deck (both in battle and in events), press 1–9 to select the card in that slot — behaving exactly like a mouse click.

• Unyielding Armor's description trimmed: the "When taking damage," prefix was removed for more direct reading.

• Reorganized the Codex Neutral tab order: Neutral units like Refugee / Farmer come first, followed by old Avatars (Vanguard/Strategist/Hermit/Wanderer) and new Avatars (Alchemist/Shennong/Heavenly Artisan/Traveling Merchant).

• Fixed the "Old Man" (Fisherman) event intro showing an extra button — it used to show "Invite Him Along," "Point the Way," and a redundant leave button; now only Invite Him Along and Point the Way remain.

• Fixed pressing Enter on the world map failing to enter the first city — Enter now enters the currently available city directly.

• Fixed unit cards in the Cabinet tier-up panel popping up status descriptions (with a wrong max HP) on hover — hovering no longer shows this info; click-to-select and dragging are unaffected.

• Fixed Transcendent Dust only working on one of your units when the Mandate's sweep attack hits several — now it triggers normally for each unit hit, treating each as a normal hit received.

• Fixed Seal (Fengjian) failing to seal some talents — talents like Transcendent Dust, Dingjun, and World-Weary Sage no longer take effect while sealed.

• Fixed enemies carrying Transcendent Dust discarding your hand cards and reducing damage on the enemy's behalf — Transcendent Dust now only works for your side.
