Is this game worth buying, or is it practically dead/abandoned?

I've got an Index, and I intend to get the new Steam VR when it releases(fingers crossed); I'd buy the game and all the DLC now if I knew the game was valid and worth playing, or if the game devs are doing the typical 'game dev is hard, so we just do the bare minimum and talk pleasantries every six months' sphiel. Where does this game land? Is the Steam version worth investing in, or is it already dead in the water/life support and I may aswell just save my money for something the dev's actually care ♥♥♥...

Picnic Festa DLC will not load after purchase

I purchased the new Picnic Festa DLC from the Steam store directly as I was unable to purchase it within the game. After purchasing the DLC would not load. I even uninstalled and reinstalled RVRF from my Steam Library. Even so, the DLC displayed as not installed inside the game. I had no issues with the Meta version of this DLC. Hello anglers,

A new update is here based on your feedback to improve your experience with the Picnic Festa DLC. We’ve also included some bug fixes, and new Avatar Items for you to enjoy.

Patch Notes

Picnic DLC

Chubby Fish & Starving Shark Recovery System

- In the Fish Tab → Fish Tank menu, Chubby Fish / Starving Sharks and their normal rehabilitated versions are now displayed separately.

- When adding Chubby Fish or Starving Sharks to Aquariums, their number in the Fish Tank menu will decrease, while the number of their normal rehabilitated versions will automatically increase.

New Avatar ItemsNew Picnic-Themed Cosmetics

- Added 6 new Picnic-themed Costume Packages.

- Added 2 new Avatar items (Cap & Jacket).

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where some players experienced missing avatar gloves and a narrowed field of view when using the Leopard Pattern Sunglasses.

- Fixed an issue where giant gloves from other players could appear in multiplayer sessions.

- Fixed duplicate fish entries appearing in the Fishdex for Picnic Stages 2 and 7.

- Implemented fixes to improve multiplayer connectivity and reduce connection issues.

- Fixed the multiplayer room creation issue in the DLCs.

Vive Pro 2 Controls and Vibration Issues

Hi, This is my favourite fishing game and im devastated that it is broken for the Vive Pro 2. The vibrations are so strong that I'm scared its going to break my game and the buttons for the map don't work anymore so I can't go to all the other areas. I love this game and really wanted to pick up the new DLC but the game has been broken for months.and I have been unable to continue playing it. RVRF Team, After fixing the color rendering issues inside the Mexico Lodge, a few new bugs have introduced themselves: 1. New Controller problems with Vive Pro 2

Hi. I dont play this game anymore myself anymore due to the problems with this before but my mother does and usually I cant get her off this game, shes obsessed with it. I just want to know if my game is messed up or is it normal for the line to only get longer when you pull the real back? I can not pull the line out of the water, no matter how hard and far back I pull the line just stretches.
