Activating old retail version on steam

Was just poking through these forums and saw people asking how to activate old copies of this and rome. I tried my Rome key and went through. When I try to put in my Alexander key it says it is invalid though. I have the physical DVD that I got from Sega when I ordered it. All it has is a CD number and order ID. I also have an old folder that I used to keep the installer in and had an activation code. None work though?

Any ideas on how I find the right key from my dvd?

Contact Steam support, they can give you a valid key if you send to they a photo :)

Unless it’s on the back or inside cover of the instruction manual or perhaps inside of the case on a sticker was sometimes used. It could of fallen off?
