1. FourChords Guitar Karaoke is based on one-time payments. You get 100+ songs when you buy the app (now -25 discount until January 2) and there are no ongoing subscription fees after you have bought the app. You can then purchase song packs from a ever-growing library of several hundred songs with one-time payments and the songs you buy are yours to keep without any ongoing fees.

2. Justin Guitar Beginner Song Course's full experience is based on ongoing monthly or yearly subscription fee and it has a smaller catalogue of songs than FourChords Guitar Karaoke as the songs have been carefully hand-picked by Justin to suit his course.
3. FourChords Guitar Karaoke includes Pro Chords (derivative chords such as 7th, sus and dis chords) while Justin Guitar Beginner Song Course focuses mainly on basic chords. Pro Chords can help more advanced players get the songs sounding closer to the originals.
We hope this helps and thanks again for your valuable feedback.
I assume neither app can actually hear me play.
FCGK has a huge advantage pricewise. I like the idea of supporting Justin's efforts because he's given so much of his time and energies for free to folks who want to learn guitar but can't afford lessons.
Honestly neither app will break the bank and both offer something I like. I see no reason not to buy them both.
