Damn, old Suda games sure is hard to understand, at least for me. Anyone know what's with the ending?

Does this has to do with FSR and other Suda games (25 Ward?)

Yes.
I assume Tokio might have been responsible for the death of Mayor Hachisuka, and he also stole on of his silver eyes. Now hes going to losspass island from FSR so yeah.
However im clueless about Catherine, considering the only Catherine I know in FSR is a suitcase.

i haven't finished FSR yet, discouraged because how terrible it looks in DS.
does silver case sumio and FSR sumio has any connection somehow?

Same here, the DS port's only selling point is being translated. Im gonna be patient and see if a new release pops up.

Question: Which ending? Since the ending consists of a climax chapter, two epilogue chapters and now two more epilogue chapters, hahaha.

Anyway, yeah, Yami is a sequel hook for Flower Sun and Rain while Whiteout Prologue is a sequel hook for 25th Ward. They both introduce stuff that will get... "resolved"... (sorta...) in those games.

Yes, Sumio Mondo and Sumio Kodai are connected. To say how though is a big spoiler if you haven't played FSR.
