I'm not sure what did I do wrong with missle, but I put them on hold for now. Drones are much better than missile in everything.
So far, it has worked alright
I am pretty sure that if a missile accelerates fast enough, it won't be able to turn off it's engine due to the force of the acceleration, and 30g is probably more than fast enough to cause that to happen.
Two of my cruisers used 244 missiles and about half their railgun ammo to defend themselves against the entire missile load of two Siloships on the launcher AI (50 missiles per wave)
30g thrust is...rather excessive.
That's what counter laser drones are for. It's meta though. So, that's cheating.
Yeah, that's it. I will try to slowthem down a bit. And there I spent hours optimizing micro NTR for the missile.
I tried meddle with the control unit before, it was even worse than the standard setting.
And it is micro missle for overwhelming enemy defense weapons, they are small, numerous, fast micro nuke missiles. They successfully keep the enemy defense weapon occupied, don't do much else though.
