Achievements getting unlocked when you leave the Game, which means it looks like someone used SAM ...
The Soundtrack is ok, the Gameplay is clunky and not precisely.
Collectables are easy to get and all achievements as well.
You can play the Game without VR Stuff.

When you press Jump you float endlessly in the Sky. ♥♥♥♥♥?
I mean its okay, when you get it for free, even for card drops but still then... it needs 15 cards to complete a Badge.

If you ever needed to demonstrate a VR helmet to your grandmother Heaven Forest would probably be an adequate way to do it. She'll look around for thirty seconds, say "Oh... I see", and then take off the headset because it makes me her dizzy. Later on, she'll mutter someting about how in her day, children went outside and walked around in real forests.

If on the other hand you need a VR game or an MMO... well... you're going to want to look elsewhere. There's nothing here but some low budget textures to stroll around in and button clicks to pick up achievolicious collectable items. If you're lucky, you may see a glowing ball floating around. That's another player. Not that you can communicate with them or go on quests together or anything. They're just trapped in the same limbo you are.

You probably got this game for free or as bundle padding in which case, enjoy the cards and keep it on standby when you tell Grandma you want an Oculus Rift for your birthday. If you paid money for it, you learned your lesson. If you're considering paying money for it, save your cash for a trip to the dollar store. You'll be much happier with anything they have to offer.

I want to write a review for this game. I thought it was a very beautiful and enjoyable game.
I Did have some technical issues with a bug that makes the program fail when closing out of the game; but Other than that, It was a cool game to play, introspective, and deeply thoughtful.
I liked the game because I have never Seen a game thats so heavily leans on Buhddism. This wasn't any slap in the face with religion, but exposure to thinking and concepts of success in life, and how people ordinarily, behave and think. Its not like an ordinary game that you go from point A to B.
It also has achievments that aren't terribly tough to get but the Journey is what I enjoy...I loved the themes presented, as well. It has some very strikingly beautiful places to go to.

7/10 for the bug, but Very Enjoyable.

2nd game of Heaven Islands. Again a interesting level design with a few secrets (Wooden Tree figures) and many to find (over 50 mushrooms, apples and other stuff, very well hidden on a big map). How loves search games/ walking simulator can test it, i give 71 % & for achievment hunter i give 87 % (could have more achievements, 50 apples/ mushrooms arent easy or hard/ but must be find in 1 walktrough & for the rest it give a good guide). Do you remember that game that got given away about 100 times? Heaven Island, right? Or maybe Paradise Island, huh?
Oh yeah, the "d0ucheb@g-scumb@g" developer Fabio Ferrara aka Chubby Pixel, did it again! He is so lazy in his productions that he didn't change name and in launching window you see "Paradise-Island Configuration"...
(Also small mention: he has some projects for some time already and seeing that he made another Heaven... game is obviously delaying them. One which of I was waiting from him was "Suicide Guy", but now I think I'll pass...)

It's the same crap as Heaven Island... just, in forest and you can fly.
It's not game I will tell a friend "play it someday".
But considering the low price (or free in some giveaways) it's okay. It doesn't contain much content... max. 2h, but it's just wandering and collecting items, reading scrolls/books. (And contemplating nature). [Psst, it will take about 7 hours to get card drops - it makes game appear longer than it is] =)

I see some things are being workarounds... spacebar for flying? It's workaround for not being able to go up the stairs in couple places.

- Didn't see a mention that holding Shift will increase movement speed.
- There are missing dots in sentences inside the game (also one or two typos) - check my screens, here: http://steamcommunity.com/id/Beridok/screenshots/?appid=476480
- Flickering (blinking) textures in couple places.
- And texts inside books might appear on "bookmark"
- Musical transitions are too quick and music is not fine (for me, it's just my opinion).
+ Nice color palette.

For that price, the game itself is cool. At worst it is still a pretty relaxing environment that one can just chill in.
I'll have to downvote for the misleading title though--there is nothing MMO about this. If it's an attempt to deliver some more zen... it does not work this way son.
Also, the player interaction box seems to be in the center of the play area instead of the headset location, which coupled with keyboard control is quite problematic.

It's a neat walking--er, floating around simulator with some philosophical text on what life is and all of it's mysteries. You can occasionally see other players floating around but there's no way to communicate to them (everybody is a wisp here)
But what I can give the game is that it is very relaxing and is very pretty. There's nothing else to do other than collect some mushrooms, apples, and the occasional gem, and admire the scenerey.

If you want to relax and hear some ramblings about the meaning of life and are willing to throw some money at this guy, you might like it. (and maybe get more time out of it than I did)

But for me, I closed the game after about thirty minutes - a very calm and peaceful thirty minutes :)

Also the achievements don't work and the game doesn't save any progress.

From the maker of Woodle Tree Adventures and Heaven Island - VR MMO comes another experience about learning further proverbs about the meaning of life...though it does get a bit Christ-y here and there, but it mostly feels like it has a Buddhist vibe.

The good part of Heaven Forest - VR MMO is that it provides psychological advice through proverbs while also giving you the opportunity to hunt for achievements. The environment is pretty nice and the music is quite calming. Great to play in your down time or if you need some psychological advice.

Simply put, get this game if you want achievements and life lessons. The original asking price is $1, but the discount price is $0.50. Though I got this game for free, I'd say its value is around that of its discount price...however, this game is often part of giveaways. I'd suggest hunting for the giveaways or grabbing this game when it goes on sale.

7/10 Gaming that teaches...and my grade school teachers said that video games could never teach lessons.

easy peasy lemon squeezy - nothing to do but to collect stuff for achievements:
quatrefoils are all within 6-7m range of a bench.
crystals: behind starting point, cave entrance left, cave lake, cave exit right map-edge, lake by the waterfall, left of the temple
meaning of life: activate all 12 illuminated balls @ the philosophical notes
apples and mushrooms: take your time, walk down the whole map several times & from different angles

This is the first time I've paid for a tech demo. And for the record, that's all it was. They call it MMO, but all that means is you'll see little blue fireballs floating around, in place of other players. It isn't even worth the $0.65 I paid for it, really. If you want a new game to play, you'd be better off with literally anything else. This is just an semi-interactive video.
