Hello Everyone!

I've been working on a major patch these past few weeks, and it's finally time to share it with you. I've been monitoring your feedback, comments, reviews and livestreams to see what is most crucial to improve upon to make the game better as quickly as I can.

Many of you have requested multiple saves to be able to play Exploration and Hardcore mode simultaneously, so now you can have up to 3 separate saves. Another frequent feedback was that the movement felt floaty & a bit weird. Now the movement while jumping should feel much better and you have more control in case you get knocked away by some obstacles (they are still pretty dangerous though). I've also added more ways to ascend the levels quicker these include new items or just plain old changes to the zones. You can probably speedrun the game under 2 hours, if you try hard enough ;)

Patch notes:

• expanded the save system, now you can have up to 3 saved games, allowing you to switch between different modes without losing your progress

• added a slight air control to jumping, previously you could only control yourself once you started falling, but this change should give you a little more control overall while jumping

• added more air control in cases where the dragon is knocked away by obstacles

• backwards input while fast jumping will initially slow the jump slightly, instead of immediately turning the dragon around to prevent you from overcorrecting jumps by accident

• made entering and exiting gliding smoother

• fixed an issue where trying to toggle glide on the ground caused you to start gliding the next time you fell by itself

• added prompt for save points in hardcore mode reminding you that you can save & exit in these zones

• added UI description for coins and feathers to the pause menu

• fixed colliders of cliffs in the Labyrinth Temple zone making them properly climbable

• added more spots in the Labyrinth Temple zone where you can save your fall

• Brox now keeps the last unlocked power's message, allowing you to read the tutorial again if you close the window

• stopping ocean pollution now rewards you as intended

• improved the moving platforms in the Stairs of Anubis zone

• further improved the pipes in Gearworks

• moved the Sporefall Glade zone slightly in order to make some falls less punishing

• added a new small island to the Sporefall Glade zone

• getting disoriented by mushrooms in the Sporefall Glade will now cause bouncy clouds to appear under you in case you fall

• added bushes of dragonfruit throughout the game, they are probably good for something

• added a short cutscene to end the game on, it will likely only make sense if you've read all the notes

• added overall time & 'hops' taken to beat the game :)

• added an option to manually select controller scheme for UI prompts

• improved the loading of zones, entering a new zone should feel much smoother now

• added periodically refilling fountains which grant you a fly charge, providing you with a renewable resource of these charges

• added persistence for jetpacks, you will now retain unused jetpacks on your back when saving/loading, allowing you to carry them wherever your heart desires

• fixed golems falling off their platforms on certain occasions

• made golems more aggressive

• windmill hitboxes adjusted

• improved performance inside the pyramid

• fixed multiple colliders

• fixed/adjusted several parts of the map

I hope these changes make for a better gameplay experience, I will continue to listen to your feedback and update the game, but keep in mind that these changes take time as a solo developer, and I likely won't be able to work on the game full time given the low sales numbers.

Hello everyone!

This new patch aims to extend controller support, including the Steam Deck with proper glyphs that change dynamically based on input type.

If you still encounter any errors or improper glyphs showing up, please send me a screenshot at https://dustriderstudios@gmail.com and any additional information (what controller do you use, which button is the correct one for the action, etc). Sadly I'm unable to test for the Steam Deck and PlayStation controllers myself, so any help is very appreciated! Thank you!

Patch notes:

• added dynamically changing input glyphs for multiple controller types

• fixed being unable to use a few features while using the controller

• added indicators for Brox's locations (your dragon trainer) to the pause menu

• fixed the dragon becoming slower in certain situations until you jumped

• Twitch Integration now no longer keeps trying to connect after a few unsuccessful tries (this was causing some lag spikes)

• other small adjustments & fixes
