Puzzle with more than 1 solution

So far, in Easy, Puzzle 51 has 3 solutions but will only accept 1.

Medium lvl 5 has multiple solutions too.

Aw man. This is always my worry with Picross games... It's why I love the Picross E games on 3DS- It's the only series of Picross games I've found that consistently has only one actual solution for every puzzle.

Is it much of an issue here, or is it sort of rare?

So far sort of rare, but, I'm only done all Easy and a few Medium and Hard only.

I've seen it in 3 puzzles so far, I'm early medium, but, yeah, that's really annoying.

It is rare. There are only a few puzzles like this. I left them in and I somewhat regret that decision now.

Moderate 5 is one with technically 4 solutions. BUT... if you take into count what the picture may be trying to make, there is just one solution.

Yep 3 solutions. That one you can't go off of what the picture is supposed to be (like the larger puzzles). Try a different middle.

But despite the different solutions (yeah can be annoying) the game is free, AND, another Picross on Steam. So I'll take it. Been enjoying it anyway.

Yeah, I find it slightly annoying that you can solve the puzzle based on a possible solution, but because the picture doesn't match it is not a solution. Medium 5 is a good example of that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AthmZyilhGg

Yep that is why I commented about that Moderate 5. If you can tell that it is supposed to be a TV, then it follows suit the rabbit ears need to be attached, despite the potential 4 solutions going by the numbers only.

Yeah that is the reason I left in some of these multi solution puzzles. They can be solved by guessing the image. The easy one slipped through the cracks as that one makes no sense.

82 moderate too... I get the pic should help, but even then, the rules of the system should be what determine the solution. Wish you the best, hope you can fix those.

Personally, I always feel like I kind of "cheated" if I solve a puzzle either by guessing, or figuring it out beforehand cause I know the image. With the latter, I consider the image to be (at least in some regard) the reward for solving the logic puzzle, and to operate as through you already know it falls into the category of assumption and guessing.

And I don't like guessing at all, because I love solving these puzzles through pure logic. A lot of times, I'll know the image and what needs to be filled, but I won't fill it until I can logically deduce it with 100% certainty.

But maybe that's just me. lol

86 too... And yeah, agreed Shadow, I like the logic for the solving, not guessing >.>
