Also make more historicaly correct.
I can't remember the comprehensive list of all the differences but it's essentially this plus some units are removed I remember peasants, dogs and incendiary pigs. More or the less the kind of novelty unrealistic units.
The AI is also tweaked and there's new campaign maps/styles. There's an expanded campaign map that gives you all of Europe and Africa maybe there were some bits missing but I remember it's about twice the size. There's also options to only have 1 Roman family rather than 4 fueding ones and all factions are unlocked.
but the factions are very unbalanced. romans are MASSIVELY op in this mod.
