Rome Total War has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.
I recently installed RTW on my new PC (AMD A4-3420 processor, 6gb RAM DDR3-1600, AMD Raedon HD 6410, 3gb video memory.) and I felt like playing a little today, but when I tried to launch the game, I encountered a window saying "Rome Total War has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit." Is there a soultion to this rpoblem or a cause that I can fix? I own Rome Total War Gold version, if that helps.

Do you or have ever used a head set with you PC? Also, what kind of OS are you using? Any more information you could include can help narrow down the issue.

Forgot about this thread. Anyway, the error was because I didnt have any sound system plugged in, so I just need to plug a pair of head phones in and the game runs just fine.

Glad to see it was worked out I had a similar problem and that was the solution.
