Its say that i need to patch 1.5 before installing the game , does rome 1 patch automatic on steam ?

Don't worry you already have the patch, what you need is a completely clean version of rome with no mods on it.

I installed the 1.1 on the rome total war gold directory , then 1.2 ..

After that im trying to lunch in single player in the directory but its say failed to find steam .. So a guy say to go in propriety and copy past ''-mod:eb -show_err'' in the option of lunching .. But its still say failed to find steam and i dont have the icon of EB on my deskop ..

I had a lot of trouble with it tooo let me check what I did

make sure you have europa on steam library and then right click it and select properties, there should be two empty or at least like two text boxes on the first one put this (if you had put EB on your C drive)
/EBTrivialScript.exe" -s ebconfig.xml -runeb -type "Single Player"

and you put this on the second box

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rome Total War Gold"

That's what I use on my laptop, now if you have the files in a different folder then it won't work this forum here will be able to help you it's the one I looked up and good luck cause it's sorta tough putting this mod in but trust me, it is sooooo worth it :D

I dont know what empty text boxes are you talking about , i click on properties and i dont see any empty text boxes .. I reinstall all in the program files steamapps/common .. But like i said to you i put the ''-mod:eb -show_err'' in the set lunch and now i got an error that the command failed .. i dont know what to do

the second comment on it is what I want you to look at, it'll show you how to put EB on steam and how where to find those boxes I mentioned. He put up screen caps of what he did and it might just be able to help you

How do you get Europa Barborum to run? I've downloaded it and installed it fine in my RTW folder, but when I click on the icon to play it, it just tells me 'can not find Steam'. :-( Originally vanilla game still opens fine via Steam but won't start up EB even though it's all installed
