Yes, it is a little rushed and broken. It was the FIRST Creative Assembly made Total War game just after they purchased Atari and integrated Atari into Creative Assembly. Religion is a little broken and confusing. I think there is a clean up mod making that part some better at TWCenter.net also or there was if it hasnt been removed and lost. If you cannot find anything, let me know with a comment here and I will dig out my homemade mod storage disk and see if I have anything.
never heard of that atari thing, were you part of them or CA?
Anyway that would kinda explain the steady downgrade (in terms of immersion/quality) of realtime battles imo, in B.I. its just the unitbalancing, Med2 already felt different but still based on rome. Nowadays you have ♥♥♥♥ tons of unitbars on your screen and much more bad things.
I have been informed it is called being distinguished :)
