Fourth Age Total War

Downloaded, installed and played the mod for quite a while, then I stopped and came back to it and it won't start up. I have set the launch options to -mod:bi/fatw -show_err -nm -ne. It worked before but now is not. Any suggestions?

Presuming you have set up the mod correctly, what was the exit error (you have show_errr)? It is likely a problem in the path, spelling, etc. Did you set the launch options and use them in the past (e.g., you did not change anything at all since it last ran correctly)?

Everything I entered into the launch options is what the installation guide told me to enter, and I haven't entered it in differently before.

Yep checked and recheked, have been asking others too. I think I'll just do a full uninstall of the mod and then reinstall.

OK, let me know if you continue to have problems. A game working and then not suggest something wrong with the install or your system, so a reinstall seems a good idea to start with. Is your vanilla game affected at all?

Nope, vanilla game is fine which is why this confused me.

i need help to fix a fullscreen problem, my game just stay in half screen and i try everyrthing

As per the instructions you will need to adjust the resolution of the game to match your desk top resolution.

You can trying doing this in game via the video options or just go into the preferences file in the fatw/preferences folder and change the campaign_resolution and battle_resolution to that of your desktop.

hey i downloaded the mod and when i start it the regular game comes up and only takes up half the sceen

Right click on Rome Total War in your steam library, click properties, then click set launch options and write this: -mod:bi/fatw -nm, click ok and then launch Barbarian Invasion. If you want to play vanilla Rome Total War again just remove that command the same way.

yeah i did that and when i open barb invasion all it does is open the regular rome total war

Not sure if this is what you mean, bit if you go to steam client and library and click play there, you get an option to choose barbarian invasion instead of vanilla. Works for me, though it is not too logical.
