Steam version of Rome is 1.5.1
Disk Version of Barbarian Invasion is 1.6
Steam Version of Barbarian Invasion is 1.6.1
If it is a zip file with a folder inside, put that folder into your mods folder.
Note: For Rome and Alexander, the folder with the mod you use goes into the same folder where the executable to launch the game is located.
Now go to your games list, right click Medieval 2, select properties, on the popup window select set launch options.
--features.mod=mods/name_of_the_mod_folder
Examples from above... --features.mod=mods/SS and --features.mod=mods/EB
Click ok and start the game.
For Rome and Alexander use... -nm -mod:(name of folder without spaces in the name)
I do not remember for MTW2, but as long as launch options are in place for Rome, if you attempt to launch Barbarian Invasion is will still launch the mod using the BI executable using the BI AI and features.
NOTE: For some mods you will get an error of a file missing. Go into your data folder, locate the file, copy (do not drag and drop) and paste into the same location in your mod folder for each missing file and you just made mods people swear will not work actually play.
