Crash Roma Surrectum III
Hey! I just discovered the existence of Roma Surrectum 3 so I ran to it but I've never used mods before. I tried to download a recent (2020) standalone 3;1 version, which seems quite simple to install, but the game crashes at the very beginning of the first campaign loading. Apparently many had this problem but I found nothing to solve it on internet.
I've installed the mod into the RTW (Gold) folder, as they say.
DOes someone knows something?
(sorry if my english is bad)
Thank you !

TWCenter.net is where they have their modding and mod support forums.

That said, quick advice, delete your Rome files in the folder, verify file integrity through Steam, steam will replace the vanilla files. Install your mod to a dummy folder named Surrectum on your base C drive. Now, open this folder. If it has everything inside of a mod folder, drop that mod folder into your Rome main folder and use launch option through Steam "-ne -mn -show_err -mod:(name of mod folder, no spaces. If the mod folder has a multiple word name, replace spaces with an underscore) Launch through Steam.

NOW, if you open this folder and it has a data folder and other files, go back up to see only the main folder and drop this main folder into your Rome folder and again use the steam launch options.

Steam launch options are found by right clicking a game in games list and selecting properties. There is a line at the bottom of the page which opens which allows putting in text. Put the launch options here without quote marks.

It crashes with the non steam version as well when loading battles; mod is obviously a broken mess.
