I have the dvds and cd key, but no dvd-drive
Is it possible to activate the game with the cd-key on steam without using the actual dvds as my new computer has no dvd player?

Yes. That is possible for TW games. Use your Steam app, then go to the 'Redeem key' section and you should be good to go.

thanks, that worked well. Don't need to buy a dvd- player.

Good to hear! Such a shame tho that not every game (e.g. Age Of Empires) has this function.

I just though I"d add that usb disc drivers are available for around $20 bucks US. I still have CDs and DVDs around from past and my family's etc that need archived and that my usb drive works fine 4 that.
Glad you got your game working too of course!
