Low FPS fix for Intel HD Graphics
Hello guys. I wanted to share a fix for FPS problems when using the Intel HD graphics. For me, it worked perfectly.

Having played M2TW at 60 FPS, i was wondering why would Rome 1, an older game, run worse. Apparently, there is a trouble with the Intel drivers. I've tried an older version (which also served to solve ArmA 3 issues). With the 2932 version or older, the FPS went from 20-30 to 50-60, but with newer versions i've had again 20-30 fps.

It might not be much, but i hope you find this little fix useful.

what also helps is using older versions of the game (the last steam version causes immense lag).

I've been using the last steam version and didn't had any lag troubles at all, but i'll check it out when I can
rember to set lauch options like -ne so that rome doesnt go in to full screen mode. haveing it set for the setting helps. also restarting ur computer for updates. tinkier with ur motherboard up date it also. one other thing is haveing a shortcut on ur desktop . rome can start without the steam app inless ur playing bi. i swear when i play vannila though alexander its blazely fast so idk. i think ne command does the most i think to be full screen for such an older games it taxes new drivers. had similer porblems with sims 2 fidding with propties.

tbh i think its when u dont have short cut on the desktop and arnt running -ne

tbh to get the best fps u would need windows 7 which could actully run xp games nativly. and not in the weird way windows 10 does. rome not being admin could effect it. sense device settings would be locked out for an app that didnt. so haveing rome open from outside ur c folder. helps idk in my exprence

I fixed the campaign map lag by downloading a d3d8.dll and pasting it into the main game directory
