thanks man yeah ill try doing that validating thing and if not ill just cop the small cost of the game on steam much appraciated
same thing for me, got a new laptop doesnt work anymore - had to get again on steam.. :(
To set the driver’s service to manual, type the following command:
sc config secdrv start= demand
To disable the driver’s service, type the following command:
sc config secdrv start= disabled
Don't forget to reset after the game to manual and you're good to go. This has worked every time for me on Win 7 since hte windows update. You can use it for any cd using secdrv like MTW2.
