Gaining Favor

What are the best ways to gain favor among the plebs? The Senate it's pretty much just do what they say, but the people seem a bit more fickle.

In late game they automaticly starts to "love" you. But its a slow thing. You have to make a lot of battles against the Senate's enemies, hold a lot of provinces. At least this is the how I started the civil war.

Just expend, favor among the plebs increases when you capture settlements. But your favor with the senate decreases as you expand untill he endlesly forces your faction leaders to comit suicide (you can refuse and that will start the civel war)

Around the 35 cities the plebs will love you enough to start the civel war.

As for the senate missions, even if you only capture the settlements he asks for and defend him when an other roman faction starts the civil war he will hate you when you have to many cities.

yeah just win big battles, take settlements etc, you dont need their favour early game only late game, the senates favor is important early game as it gives you many perks such as gettig your generals elected for offices which gives you benefits as well so senate favor is good then move onto the plebs favour when you become big enough to start a war with rome

plebs, they love winning great battles and getting more land, however !!!!!
senate, its easy do what they say, but here is the thing,, plebs don't realy like it if you do loads of things for the senate,, jep its true

if you do all senate things, you get bonusses, but at the same time your rep with the plebs gets a smal hit every time,, they start to think hey,,, he is a senate's puppy !!!!!!

whatever you do,, just win battles take towns, its great with the plebs,, and if the senate is asking something , only do it if you gain strenght out of it, AGAINST your enemy's and if they are on your route of conquest

if you play jullii and they ask to blokate a port in greece , dont realy do it, its helping bruttii, not you, so bruttii gets stronger and he gets the plebs on his side, as he wins battle's on land AND take's towns,, you only get a senate office or something,, think about it for a second lol !!!!!
i playing a cjullie campaign now, turn 35 i think, and bruttii only has that 1 town in greece that was rebel, he is realy struggling to get a foothold in greece,, same thing chartage,in the beginning i was ally, and scippii only has sicilly and that one small island, the rest still belongs solid to chartage,and is at war with spain now
i am now on the cappitol of gaul (its britton now) , i have war with gaul and germania,whille ally with brittons
playing on VH-VH,i own 8 cities macedon is steam rolling the north/east, he even borders me with a full stacked town,, greece stil holds on , but is now hammered by pontus+macedon+bruttii,
just play your own strategy, in battle and in politics, if a quests is good for you take it
and you will see a totaly differend campaign starting to unravel :))
