Does the Rome Total War Collection include all of the DLC?

Rome Total War comes with Barbarian Invasion by default, the collection adds the Alexander DLC which if i'm not mistaken is the only DLC for RTW. In my opinion Alexander wasn't very good, had it when I was a child, wasn't pleased with it, but that is only my opinion. You may look up a video and see if it is worth it to you.

Thank you I appreciate the fast response, I will definitley look into it before getting it
There is no DLC in this game, aside from the 2 expansions (Barbarian Invasion, and Alexander) that are their own seperate campaigns and can be ignored.

But on the flip side, the non-Roman factions aren't as fleshed out as they are in Rome 2, so it's a bit of a give and take.

It is worth noting that only a small number of factions are playable in Rome, even when you complete the Roman campaign and unlock the other playable factions.

There is a very simple trick that involves altering a text file to change that. And I recommend doing it, because some of the unplayable factions are really interesting. (The Pontus and Macedonians even has their own flavor text for the faction selection screen, that you would never be able to see without modding the game)

Just don't try to play as the Senate, or as the Rebels, because those two can cause your game to crash.

They've literally done this in every Total War game since Rome 1 to my knowledge. They'll code all these playable factions and only make 70% of them playable even upon completion. It's just madness and only hurts them. The old desc_strat works on medieval 2 as well and whilst it's hard to activate factions yourself on more modern titles like Rome-2 they have simple faction unlocks on the workshop (bar the payable ones). God it annoys me. I remember when I was newbie back when Rome first came out I spent maybe 3 years wishing I could play Macedon always assuming the desc_strat was 'coding' and too complicated rather than literally a copy-paste that we should never have had to figure out for ourselves to begin with because theres no reason to not make all of this unlockable ingame :/

At the time we didn't really have DLC. As said above you got the two expansions in that collection.

The good thing with Alexander is that you get the latest (with some fixes/added features) useful for certain mods. I highly recommand playing mods (check twcenter forums).
