Camera mod/edit?

Hi!

Is it possible to edit the game files/download a mod to enable a truly "unrestricted camera"?

What I mean by this is not the conventional meaning, found in the settings, but rather a camera setting that zooms in/out much further - that allows the camera to be almost at head height, or give a proper birds eye view.

I'm sure this is possible, as i've seen it occur on certain maps.

Dude just look in the files and change the camera FOV it helped with zooming out but obviosly you will get worse performance.

it works perfectly but only in battles, not on settlement zoom

The file with this camera hack doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Anyone knows where to find it ?
I love Rome Total War and the restricted camera drives me nuts, lol

Here is the mod. It works the same for Rome TW as for Medieval II TW:

Unlimited zoom for battle camera. For Rome 1, Medieval II and any of their mods. Finished and working! :)

There's no download file, because it works for original games and any other mod, because each mod is different, following the installation instructions will allow it to adapt to any mod that exists. Just follow instructions carefully, it's simple to do.
