We are putting the finishing touches to a free demo of Faraday Corridors,
and it will be up for Steam Next Fest.


Chapters I and II, in full: 24 of the 58 levels. Not a slice of a slice,
but the whole first arc of the game, tutorials included. You start on the very
first corridor and finish on The Turntable, the level with the best flow
of the two chapters.

That cut is deliberate. Chapter I alone would never show you the
single-use switch, and the demo would end on one of the softest puzzles
of the game. With chapter II in, the demo covers three of the four families of
mechanism:

• switches, that open and close corridors
  
• room rotators, that turn a tile under your pawn
  
• single-use switches, that never come back

Pressure plates and the multi-pawn game start in chapter III, and stay for the
full release.


The demo is the same build as the full game, not a stripped-down one:

• the four medals per level: bronze, silver, gold, platinum
  
• Rush Mode, to speedrun a puzzle once you know the way
  
• the online leaderboards, corridor by corridor
  
• full controller support, and a Steam Deck layout
  
• 27 languages, switched in the settings without restarting

Your progress carries over: nothing you solve in the demo is lost when the full
game unlocks.
