Trackpad locomotion in VR
Devs,
I saw that teleport is the only locomotion in the game. Can you add trackpad locomotion as an "option" because it would feel so much better to those that like and can handle trackpad loco. It will also sell more copies because some of us VR players won't even buy if teleport is the only loco.
Controller oriented trackpad loco to be specific, some people also like headset oriented, but they're maniacs.

Thanks

Yep, we've been begging for over a month now:

Very saddening that it seems like they may not ever add this simple thing that would add so much :(

Yep, it's very disappointing that they are stubbornly ignoring consumer feedback. Why would any dev refuse to interact with people who are very close to purchasing the game (if he'd only add a tiny feature that we already know works with the game)?

The ♥♥♥♥? This only has teleport. I'm not against teleport but for a game like this, telport makes no sense. Exploration games like this shouldn't be teleport-only. Welp, guess I'm taking this off my wishlist now. It looked good, too.

Ok, I have an utterly piss-poor solution for those who (like me) absolutely can't stand to play with teleportation:

Use the 360 controller.

It actually almost works. You use the right hand for the scanner and with your left you hold the controller and use the left thumbstick to move around. Seems almost perfect, right?

Unfortunately, because this is a completely unsupported method of playing the game, the orientation of the movement remains locked to your starting position. That is, pushing forward on the joystick will always move you in the same direction in the world, regardless of where you've turned to in VR, so it's quite unintuitive and honestly borderline unusable.

On top of this, I've noticed that I get stuck quite often and can't move with the joystick anymore for some reason, and the only thing I can do to free myself is reload from a checkpoint.

So yeah, just throwing this out there, it's ♥♥♥♥ but it's all we've got.
