LEGENDARY DROP RATE IS SO BAD THAT IT DENIES THE GAME ESSENCE
Being past Gorgons, close to Athen and the results are clear now. Playing in legendary, now pushed only by the desire of playing EE.

I think I am really unlucky or at least I hope that's the problem ... but just because EE is a thing after that legendary diff is worth playing. Loot is really inconsistent, very bad, unbelievable nerfed. It wasn't like this in epic and normal, it wasn't such a disaster. I remember I almost made sets and I found very good stuff back in time.

Blues are extremely rare, way more than previous difficulties, I remember with my new rune-ranger I had at least 4/5 blue before Megara. Now? One?

Purple are rare and often the same as the ones I found in epic
And also they are often weak. That Odysseum helmet is a joke ... come on, push a bit more on those stats, what's this stingy behaviour? We payed for the game, isn't it? I thought TQ wasn't a "free to play" game where giving strong items to players may be an economic loose for the devs. You know, if you find an item in a "free to play", you don't have to pay or trade for it

Mis ... what are Mis in legendary? Can you see one, without loot +++++++++?

Only thing that spawns good is green. And you have to farm for them.
I still use items from act 4 epic. This looks like a nightmare.

They denied the whole diablolike essence with this poor loot drop rate.
A diablolike, or whaterver you call this game, is based also on the loot, on items you can drop and be happy to drop with a certain consistency. Not a rare and occasional event, like a lottery win. This game is based on what you can drop to be stronger, not on dodging and hoping next enemy will not oneshot you.. If loot doesn't come, it's a fail, as a game and as a rpg. TQ denies itself with the loot. And giving the crown to GD for such a stupid reason.
I hope I am just unlucky. Oh, righ, gold income is laughable.

I am very disappointed.

The game has been stingy with its drops since its release in 2006. Oldschool droprates and lots and lots of RNG. It's not uncommon to find very few epic or legendary items per regular run.
Bosses usually have better droprates, if you're target farming something check the tqdatabase, they have drop% on all things.
TQ was also a game that allowed transferring items when its addon launched so future characters would have an easier time. Then again, going selffound is fun trying to mix & match items to your needs.
Also, mods exist.

You're complaining about RNG in a game from 2006.

PS: Diablo 2 has even worse droprates without magic find.

I am complaining about a game that had expansions and stuff added like skills, classes, challenges. Talking about the same old devs or new devs, they worked on the game for a long time. And the low drop rates is not even a new problem they aknowledged. Rethinking a bit about the drop rates and the essence itself of the game would've been great. Self-found things it's not an excuse, I cannot play four characters to the same point if I get stuck with one cause lack of good items. Cause you get stuck in this game, enemies sometimes hit hard. Mod is not an excuse to defend a bad decision, expecially when you have to modify some numbers and increase a bit droprates. I don't say from 0.1% to 35%, I just say less yellow, more green and more blues. Just a tiny bit to start with.

Are not blues (often) quite mediocre pick in TQ due inability take enchants and lack of resistances?

legendary drops happens sometimes on elitè...useless to say but you have to wait to enter in legendary diffculty
The ''more loot'' mod really helps even if you are playing on elitè

I am in legendary, in fact. And the situation seems worse, that's disappoiting.

Just play with the LootPlus mod, it's what the game RNG should have always been like.
Better yet play with "Loot Plus XMAX FTW" at 1x spawn rate, and you'll have what could be considered a fan-patch. No reason to ever play the base game if "Loot Plus XMAX FTW" exists.
