No game like it!
Edit: My favorites are TQ Base and Ragnarok. I really loved the Celtic-Norse setting in Ragna.
Yeah, TQ's setting and atmosphere is excellent. Great mythological setting and nice environments to explore. Enemy design is terrific and varied.
I played a ton of D2 back in the day, probably the nostalgia talking but still consider one of my favorite games. I didn't get until TQ until I saw AE on sale and bought it to try out a new Diablo clone. Quickly became one of my new favorites. The dual mastery system is great for making interesting combos and Monster Infrequents are a great alternate to Legendaries that can be target farmed. Grim Dawn is superior mechanically to TQ but I enjoy TQ's setting so much more.
Are there problems? Of course, AE still has wonky builds that require 0 management, but with no seasons/leaderboards/rankings theres really no requirement TO play them. TQ really is a treasure <3
Running fine with my GTX 1650 as well as it always did on my older PCs since 2006 (even in Atlantis ...). And of course you can't play with 10 instances of Chrome opened in the background.
