Most underrated RPG hack and slash better than Diablo
Game ahead of its time ,incredbilt underrated, now with anninverary edition and update exlcluding Embers which was awful

I never seen more in depth customization and combinations of different skills , spells, complex system with massive world , perfect graphics for its time, it looks very good still

game feels so longi ts very challenging , soundtrack is gorgeous locations , base game and immortal throne classic are my favourite, later on they tried too hard

i also love how enemies keep staying dead too after u kill them, day night realistic time, so many cool enemies and abilities its super addictive and epic

Titan quest is actually one best games ever made of its genre

It is truly an amazing game. One part that often gets overlooked is the setting. A combination of history(or something like that ; historic locations) and mythology is such an amazing idea and I really love the atmosphere.

No game like it!

Edit: My favorites are TQ Base and Ragnarok. I really loved the Celtic-Norse setting in Ragna.

Yeah, TQ's setting and atmosphere is excellent. Great mythological setting and nice environments to explore. Enemy design is terrific and varied.

I played a ton of D2 back in the day, probably the nostalgia talking but still consider one of my favorite games. I didn't get until TQ until I saw AE on sale and bought it to try out a new Diablo clone. Quickly became one of my new favorites. The dual mastery system is great for making interesting combos and Monster Infrequents are a great alternate to Legendaries that can be target farmed. Grim Dawn is superior mechanically to TQ but I enjoy TQ's setting so much more.

Just wanted to plus 1 this. To me the TQ/GD ARPG duo is so freaking addicting. I keep trying other ARPGs but non really keep me hooked like these games (I'll specifically just say TQ from now on since this isn't about GD). I also don't really have fun planning builds like I do with TQ. TQ also doesn't have annoying things I can't stand in other ARPGs (limited spell slots, and ability spam being the two specifically that makes me grown).

Are there problems? Of course, AE still has wonky builds that require 0 management, but with no seasons/leaderboards/rankings theres really no requirement TO play them. TQ really is a treasure <3

Need a RTX 4080 ?! You want to play with 500 fps and reshade or what ?

Running fine with my GTX 1650 as well as it always did on my older PCs since 2006 (even in Atlantis ...). And of course you can't play with 10 instances of Chrome opened in the background.

Underrated? Not at all, if you want to point underrated one, point at Drox 2.

Imagine if today we are not in November 2023 but in November 2006 and you buy yourself an RX 560 with 3644 benchmark compared to the minimum system requirement of a GeForce 6800 with 113 benchmark. Would you not think you could run the game with 3124,78% more benchmark than necessary ? I guess the minimum requirement is probably for 30 fps ? Let's cut it in half for a 60 fps (well, DOUBLE the requirement to reach this. 113*2 = 226). An RX 560 would have 1562,39% more benchmark. How much fps am I supposed to have ? About 937 ? Do I have 937 fps ? Absolutely not ! I have difficulties reaching 60.

Does my CPU bottleneck my graphic card ?

"AMD Radeon RX 560 is too weak for Intel Core i7-2600 on 1920 × 1080 pixels screen resolution for General Tasks. This configuration has 5.3% of graphic card bottleneck ."

DK your problems but with a GTX 1080 I can get 60 frames (maybe some drops here and there minimal) at 1440 and with a personal reshade with no problems...

Back in the day (I still have original TQ and IT discs) for me it was only game that could get close to perfection that was Diablo 2. I love 'classic formula' - three difficulty levels and skill points every level up. I still play Anniversary Edition from time to time. Great game. Too bad that for me it was always solo or two player coop. It can only imagine how amazing it feels to play thru whole campaign with 3+ players.
