Bandit King set

Looking at titans quest database it would seem that this set is best farmed off an elite hero named vadas in Atlantis expansion. It has an abysmal drop rate of .0053. My question is has anyone had luck getting anyone these items off legendary secret passage? Or am I stuck doing 1000000000 very quick but boring and unrewarding vadas runs?

TQDB only lists drop rates from heroes or bosses. But these items can also drop from monsters as well (or probably chests too).
