Need help! Conqueror build and weapons at each stage
Hi
Which weapons are great at each stage of the game (Normal-early, Normal-mid, Normal-late, Epic-early, Epic-mid, Epic-late,Legendary-early, Legendary-mid, Legendary-late)?

Right now, I'm stuck with a sword since Normal mid and I'm at Epic-mid.

This sword (Stormbane) gives me huge benefits (resistances), but is now lacking the damage and (mainly) life leech:

The weapons I find seems to lack damage, compared to the sword.

Any tips what are good for a conq. at each stage?

You may want to dive into green and yellow items with relics/charms, you might be surprised how good they are (even better double affix monster infrequents).
Find a green with a good prefix (ex: Veteran's, Devouring) and socket with a good relic / charm. Green + relic is often the superior the choice. Btw, don't look at level requirement, look at the item's stats; certain fixes have specific level requirements so an end game weapon with Veteran's still requires the same low level to wield. As a conqueror a club type weapon (they're usually the slow speed) may be good if you have the stun passive skill. Otherwise just equip whatever is best.

Grinding packs of quest mobs can be a good way to grab fast greens as they have higher chances to drop items (mobs drop what they wield so you'll only find the type of weapons that they actually use). Vendors sell greens as well so you can check them for items with good fixes.

Farm one every difficulty. Slam a Valor of Achilles on it. Job done.

Ideally what you want is a Sabertooth from the Tigermen in Act 3 (as per the Adrius's suggestion above). Due to its very fast attack speed this was always the go to weapon in the base game as it maximised the proc chance of all your passives.

However you want to replace it in Act 5 with the superior Einherjar's Fate which drops from the human enemies in Valhalla. This weapon is slower than the Sabertooth but this is compensated for by the substantial base damage increase over that weapon. Also its minimum and maximum damage is almost the same meaning it gives out incredibly consistant DPS.

Again I agree with Adrius in that you want to use the best Valour of Achillies that you have. ideally the Epic version with either % attack speed or % damage increase. The damage will likely give you more DPS which I prefer but the speed will help with passive proc's from skills.

I'm actually playing a Conq at the moment and am in Act 1 Legendary. I've been using an Act 5 Legendary Einherjar's for a while now. Nothing else that I've found does a better and more consistent job.
