Dragon hunter bow build
So..i'm playing a dragon hunter with a bow but the bow seems to be a little frustrating, the enemies dodge the arrow and sometimes there is a "deflect" thing going on, which makes me question...are bow builds good in this game? am i doing something wrong with my build? does someone have some tips for a dragon hunter build? i'm lvl 45 now using rune weapon as my main source of damage

One of my guy is an int based dragon hunter (spear / throwing).

Honestly.... I'd go with a throwing weapon because rune weapon builds up based on the number of times you hit the enemy, and throwing weapons tend to be faster than bows.

Other than that, you might want to consider getting something (freezing rune mines... especially with Atlantis dlc rune field, stone walls, monster lure, etc etc) to slow down or tie down the enemies so they will be easier to hit.

There's a stat called "Dodge Projectile", that's what some mobs are given, which is increased on difficulty modifier and depending on mob type, so yes it's annoying. This isn't exclusive to a bow issue though, the majority of spells in the game are considered projectiles can can be dodged by this stat too.

You've probably made a slight error in your build. The most important thing you can do is, take all WPS (Weapon Pool Skills) and update your weapon (always looking for higher base damage), then max your attack speed. That's the best way of increasing your performance.

Here's a good build around your level. It uses all WPS skills, thunder strike off cooldown. Study Prey to debuff enemies. I would charge Rune Weapon, then start unloading with Marksmanship, it's worth to use because of how much projectile speed it gives your arrows. The most important part will be your bow though, you can vendor farm a good green one with a prefix like Veteran's, or a suffix like Alacrity for some more attack speed.

For enchanting, i would put either https://tq-db.net/en/equipment/incarnation-of-artemis'-bowstring
or
https://tq-db.net/en/equipment/incarnation-of-the-valor-of-achilles

depending on which you get with a completion bonus of extra Attack Speed
