If I recall it's a bit of glass cannon type dual wield type char. Battle Standard helps a lot so decent CDR would probably be good. Standard also combos great with traps. Can also be played as a knifethrower I think through that may be a bit harder to build/gear.

Playing with it now, it has good poison and bleeding damage, it has support for piercing damage too, with these types of damage, will only find resistant enemies being some types of undead since even constructs and devices this class has an offensive advantage IMO.

I made this character starting at lvl 40 trying the zero deaths achievements, it's in act 2 of the epic difficulty with zero deaths so far, with items of a lot of grind, putting all stat points dividing between strength and dexterity.

Playing with it now. It can have great attack & poison damage but can take a lot of damage also. Lot of variety in offense with traps, throwing knife & poison cloud. The last one is a projectile so is useful when you are playing in tiered terrain (like the area before Act 1's Gorgon boss).

Playing with gamepad, mostly attacking with onslaught from warfare mastery because of the physical defense bonus to be added to what I have in the equipment, but i'm thinking of trying rogue mastery's normal attack skill on the dummy target near the Sparta shop to see if it does more damage, I put a shield :)

Onslaught or Calculated Strike as your spammable attack (personally like Onslaught here) - if going melee or ranged. Throwing Knife can also be used as your spammable attack if you got a more caster oriented build.

Your other ability will be something that can't be spammed, Lethal Strike is most likely, maybe Poison Gas Bomb for a caster ability. Alternatively traps can be here if you're more a pet build to make them easier to drop.

Well, it's safe to say calculated strike is the weakest LMB in this game. It might have big numbers, occasionally, but on average it's too weak.
IMO devs should at least make it 2 charge levels and rework Lucky Hit with proper useful stats.

I started using calculated strike because to have this skill and calculated strike's subskill in full costs less points than onslaught, and it can also be considered as it didn't have much difference in terms of damage in my build focused on piercing, poison, bleeding, compared to onslaught.
Sometimes it looks even better especially when I'm in need of extra skill points, considering the cost of the skill and subskills maximum capacity.
Looks like it's already made to be balanced in my opinion, calculated strike can even be considered less powerful in some cases but it costs less points to have maximum capacity with subskills compared to onslaught.

I put attack bonus against undead in the equipment through relics, now it has become a character that beat all enemies quickly while avoiding attacks that are dangerous even with good resistances, attacking with dual throw currently.
When too many melee enemies get close i use "flash powder" :)

Rogue's "Mandrake" + "Flash Powder" and warfare's "Dodge Attacks" seem to notably increase the character's overall survival.

...exactly, also you have Horn stun, can take Onslought upgrade and battle standart, so playing smart, not just brainlessly runing in, you kill fast and take little damage. Really confused about that missconcept of glass cannon. Who doesn't allow you to builld tanky when you already got so much crowd control?...

My first character (technically my 3rd. My first was a badly built Juggernaut in TQ Gold) and my strongest. 150+ death, so a little squishy (maybe my built issue), but his attack power is high especially in melee, a dual-wielder. Only in Normal so far(no thanks to Ragnarok), so I dont know how he stacks on the later difficulties

I have other alts like a Paladin, a Ranger and a couple more, but I miss my Assassin's attack power when I use especially the Ranger(who lacks AoE options until late in the Hunting tree)

Rush in, War Horn, Battle Standard, War Wind more or less destroys anything that comes into melee, things like Dactyl and Typhon aside. Battle Standard also helps to improve survivability.
His biggest weakness is the lack of good range options for those pesky archers(damn you Machaes...!); Throwing Knives feels too slow, traps need alot of point investment, I didnt invest in Poison Gas Bomb and Im hoping the new Atlantis skill, Slam, alleviates this.

"Calculated strike" throwing weapons sometimes hits a lot of enemies because Calculated strike with projectile goes through target
