Save game editor & Item editor
Are there any working ones that let you edit i.e. which quests a char has completed
as well as
Let you edit the prefix/suffix of items?

I saw TQdefiler but it doesn't seem like it works for AE.

TQdefiler I thought still worked for AE but not if you had Ragnarok, although all these new patches have most likely altered that. I believe the only thing it may still be good for is opening portals, although you may get some warnings when trying.

TQRespec works, but is for re-allocating att/ skill points and masteries as well as copy renaming builds. You can also print out a database sheet of all your builds with a lot of information about them.

TQVault you can change bonus affixes on charms and relics.

Only way I know to alter affixes on items would be a hex editor. That would be a lot of work.

Thank you for your detailed answer.
Guess I'll look into TQRespec & TQVault, gotta take what you get.

TQVault now has "The Forge". If you enable cheating then the Forge allows you to adjust affixes on non unique items.

You have to have an item that already has the affix though. So you drop the item to be changed in one box then drop other items into prefix / suffix boxes and these are applied to the item to be changed.

It has 3 different modes of operation which essentially enforce or not a certain amount of legitimacy. I did a test on the most strict option and this forced you to get affixes from the same item type and did adjust level requirement of the changed item based on the affixes used.

No idea though whether the items created are truly legitimate as in they could drop at the same character level etc. Also seems a bit like an over reach for a storage app.

Yup, this forge thingy was pretty much what I was looking for. Now to not go overboard.

I'm curios if there's also a way to clone a character? I notice tqvault let's me edit the level of a char, but I figure once I get my current char to legendary, I'd like to clone that char and it's Quest progress so I don't have to run through the game from normal again, and then use the mastery/attribute reset to change specc.

You want the "Duplicate" button for that. Not used it myself so can only assume it is an exact duplicate. I also assume it requires cheats on in settings but maybe not.

Well, Defiler actually worked for me, even with Ragnarok Expansion at that time. Make a backup of your Character save file(the one that you want to Edit) and try it out. In theory, it should work.

TQvault seems to have filled all my needs, I can even make a duplicate of my char and give it a new name, it had everything I wanted.

Thanks for your help fellas.
