Report a translation problem
Windows generally already sets virtual memory by itself. It doesn't matter how much RAM your system has, at some point you'll still need it. I have 16GB and Windows still set it to 6060MB for the C:\ drive.
It's just a temporary file that's used as a RAM overflow.
Start > Rightclick on Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced. Hit 'Settings' under performance > Advanced tab > change the Virtual Memory size. (Letting Windows choose the size is usually sufficient.)
I don't see why anyone would disable it, unless they were using a 1600RPM drive... (Do they even still sell those?)
