I haven't tried it yet but i can imagine this can be end game scenario without needing wolves. Just nymhp and this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ will ♥♥♥♥ the ♥♥♥♥ out of mobs. What do you think

Its still weaker than in the original game. The reason Liche king was so good is that you could debuff mobs % life damage resist. Kills are still slower even with all the new stuff added like circle of power.

One of my main builds is a pet soothsayer. I don't play him on the AE edition though.

Builds like conqueror and haruspex online can kill mobs solo on a team of +3 faster than my pet build kills them offline solo. So pet builds are really underperforming in the AE edition compared to other builds. Side by side, they can't keep up. They need to buff the damage of existing pets like wolves. Give them more flat damage, and remove the bleeding, etc. Pets like core dweller are basically useless as any sort of offensive tool in legendary. They also get rolled over by machae archers in seconds which makes them not all that great as a damage sponge.

Problem is AOE in pet builds in this game. For single target, i don't think it will make much difference. + slow killing speed is compensated when u loot after the combat while i was looting in combat =)

Loot? Are you grabbing every single yellow that drops or something? I'm able to quickly scan for loot using my eyes, and rarely pick stuff up anymore. I even leave epic/legendary items on the ground if I already got a few copies. The best way to loot is kill bosses anyway, and you gotta wait till they're dead to loot them. The faster the boss is dead, the less time you invest in farming.

If you have a more defensive oriented pet build, like my soothsayer, you can put the lich on defensive, and he'll death nova mobs that gather around you. I'm talking about using a sword + board over an INT based pet build. I've tried both, and the defensive/melee pet build is objectively better performance wise. What I do sometimes, is I'll run around and grab multiple packs of enemies using deathchill aura (don't try this on machae archers), and the lich will catch up and death nova the whole pack.

hmm thanks good idea. So you say death nova is nice. What about arcane blast? What do you say about nature skills then?
