Stuck on Knossos Landing..

Hello everyone! I started playing the game a couple of days ago but now I got this issue. I defeated the 2 bosses in the Knossos Labyrinth, spoke with the npc right after and then I went outside in the Knossos Landing area where the npc and the boat are but to my surprise, the npc does not have a question mark on his head and I cannot interract with him in any way, so there is no way I am able to advance to the next map. The quest appears with all it's objectives completed in the quest log.

Anyone else had a similar issue and has any advice please ? I don't really want to start all over again.

stupid question: do you see a npc with an anchor sign instead of the question mark above the head? (probably not...otherwise you wouldnt ask...)

No. You are right, it should be an anchor sign and not a question mark but still, I can't interract with the npc in any way.

If everything else fails, you can use TQDefiler to manually enable the first waypoint in the next act. I'd first double check that you talked to everyone, though, going back to the last waypoint, checking all NPCs, etc, Start a new game, too.

Thank you! I searched on google myself and fond something similar but I had to do one other thing too for it to work! I did was what suggested in that forum post and it worked! I am now past that area.

Here is what you need to do if you have the same issue:

Try going into your:

C:\Documents and Settings\*your name here*\My Documents\My Games\Titan Quest\SaveData\Main\*_Your_Character_Here* Folder.

1. Going into the levels_world_world_01 folder, and the difficulty level folder (normal, epic, legendary).

2. Sort the files by *modified*.

3. Delete both of the files that start with *quest* (should be in the last 2 or 3 files.

Try to defeat the last telkine again (megalesios) and see if you get the boat captain to work.

If that doesn't work, do the same thing only deleate your last .que file as well.
