Sickle of Kronos?
How do you get the sickle from the telkine?
Apparently you just need to send a pet in front of you before the telkine frees typhon: the pet reaches the combat area, the telkine triggers typhon's new freedom but without losing the sicke into nothingness as usual, meanwhile the pet you sent has teleported back to you...
So all clear? No, my pet can't reach the area with the telkine... he teleports back to me too earlyn and if I advance too much that telkine frees typhon and the sickle is gone...
What am I missing?

He randomly drops the Sickle. Its not a super rare drop. In 20 runs I saw it drop 4x.

The item is still kinda useless. There isn't a viable build that makes use of it. The ether strike attack is the same as summon outsider's. The reason there is no viable build is you need to focus on % reduction requirements on gear, and that will leave you with resists deeply in the negatives. So yeah, have fun in melee getting oneshotted, even if the sickle does decent damage. I can't imagine the item would be entertaining to use for much more than a few minutes.

I didn't know it was a random drop... so it's just like the "turtle" dropped by hades: it drops sometime... Thanks a lot
I don't know anything about the stats of the sickle, just curiosity (or collector's greed).
My best toons are around level 60 so too late to change build for a single item.
Thanks again

If you see him holding the weapon, then he will drop it on death. Doens't always have it on.

Don't go immediately to battle. Do not go further the 1st monster chain. Throw your pet to Telkine and he'll keep the sickle in hand.
Then, battle!!

LOL, I dont know who came up with that fools errand of sending a pet forward to get the sickle, thats complete Bollocks ! Someone was just trying to make themselves look like a game crack who solved a complicated puzzle. Literally all you have to do is go down and fight the Telkine, and if you are lucky he drops it. PERIOD. I got 4 Sickles in 13 tries.

So after 9 999 999 999 runs I eventually found the Sickle to also find out that you need 3000 str and 1000 int to equip it (also lvl 80) Maybe if you run it through the dwarven craftsmanship quest you will get some - to reduction and also adding some rings and gear that reduce requirements. I don't think there is actually any viable build with it. The amount of - reduction you have to come up it eats all your gear storage and you are left equipped with complete garbage items.

I believe there is actually a steam guide for such a build lol. Rune would probably be a good mastery for using the Sickle as you could use Runeword: Feather to help reduce the Str requirement a lot. Then you'd need some other way to help lower requirements (Captain's Signet, Odysseus Armour, etc.) The sickle grants a spammable skill that does elemental damage which should help an intelligence character.

Im a physical dmg type of guy and lately more of a specialist. For quests and for having a basic character that I can then transform into any other mastery through respec tool. I currently play a pure defender, I hit 40000 dmg crits. I managed to obtain a Fist of the Fiery Legion at the dwarven upgrade quest with +85% (50+35%) dmg bonus. In prefix and suffix terms that would go as Ferocious something somethinf of annihilation. Some of the greatest boosts when it comes to damage. You can't get higher than this in a single item.

Will try thinking of a way to have a decent built that can equip the Sickle...dual wielding it with a Hammer LOL.

I found some guy on youtube with it actually, he one striked Typhon with it but died a couple of times just trying to reach him so not really reliable as an item.

There is some guy on youtube I watch, now he has an unpronounceable name but in the past he went by the name of Mr. Fae. He has similar builds to yours but he explains everything in much more detail. He actually also run a character from level one to level 80 just for this build, insane amount of time invested. I will probably watch all those videos when I have the patience.

What is the mod you are running?
